I grew up in Iowa. I attended both Iowa State University and Drake University. I began teaching in Des Moines in 2000. I am married with 3 kids.
I grew up in Emmetsburg and attended Emmetsburg High School. My teaching career began at Iowa State University where I earned my B. S. degree in elementary education with an endorsement in the area of reading. I received my M. A. degree in education from Viterbo University. I have been teaching in the Des Moines Public School District since 2000. I am married with two children.
I grew up on a farm in southern Iowa. I attended Mormon Trail High School and Buena Vista for college. I began working at DMPS in 2000. My parents and siblings still reside in Iowa, which is nice having them close. I am blessed with 6 nieces and nephews and 2 great nieces and a great nephew. They all bring me joy. I have been an interventionist at Morris for quite a while. I enjoy building positive relationships with our students and guiding them in their learning.
I grew up in Garber, Iowa where I went to High School at Central of Elkader Community Schools. I went on to Upper Iowa University and then to Graceland University for my Masters. I started teaching in Des Moines in 2004. I am married to my husband, Charlie. We have 3 kids, Wyatt, Scarlett, and Violet. My family and I reside in Yellow Banks Park with our three dogs, Buster, Rambo, and Crixus. While at Morris, I have taught both Kindergarten and First Grade.
