I grew up on the Gulf Coast of Florida in New Port Richey. I went to Gulf High School and then to Central College. I went on to Morningside College to get my master’s degree. I began teaching in 2001 for DMPS. I am married to John and have 2 sons, Chase and Wyatt. We have 2 dogs, Sophie Bear and Sweet Pea. I love teaching at Morris. When I am not at school, I enjoy walking the dogs, riding my bike, and spending time with my family at the lake.
