I grew up in Des Moines and attended Dowling Catholic High School. I went on to attend college at Grand View University and Morningside. I started at DMPS in 2004 as a substitute teacher and then began full time in 2006. I have a daughter named Serena and she is a substitute teacher.
I grew up on the Gulf Coast of Florida in New Port Richey. I went to Gulf High School and then to Central College. I went on to Morningside College to get my master’s degree. I began teaching in 2001 for DMPS. I am married to John and have 2 sons, Chase and Wyatt. We have 2 dogs, Sophie Bear and Sweet Pea. I love teaching at Morris. When I am not at school, I enjoy walking the dogs, riding my bike, and spending time with my family at the lake.
I grew up in Santiago, Chile. I did all my education (included college where I went to Law School) in Chile. I started working at DMPS in November 2018. I have 3 girls (Valentina , Magdalena, and Daniela) and a wonderful husband. We love to do things together, especially our Game Nights on Fridays. We moved to the United States of America and lived in Minnesota at first. Since 2018 we have lived in Iowa. We have 2 cats.
