5th Graders Attend an Iowa Energy Game

This week our 5th graders went on a field trip!  The Iowa Energy basketball team had a special “Education Day”, so Morris showed up along with hundreds of students from many other schools.  There was an emphasis on being a Kid of Character, and a verbal contract was made among the students to reach high in the areas of honesty and integrity.  Our students matched the theme of the day by showing incredible respect and responsibility during the trip.  To top off the event, the Iowa Energy scored over 100 points, and all students got a coupon for a free pizza.  A great time was had by all.  They are now looking forward to their next outing–a chance to experience the Symphony at the Civic Center!
