Welcome Anita Smith New Dean of Students

I am so excited to start this new journey as the Dean of Students at Morris Elementary!  I am a proud graduate and supporter of the Des Moines Public Schools as I graduated from North High School and have been employed for the district for the past 15 years.  I have a variety of teaching experiences in middle and elementary school as both a special education and 4th grade teacher.  My most recent job consisted of being half time dean/interventionist at Park Avenue Elementary School.    I look forward to working with and getting to know the staff, students and families of Morris!  Go Bison!
